Distance Learning

Online music education is a recent development in the field of music education. It applies new technologies associated with distance learning and online education for the purpose of teaching and learning music in an online environment mediated by computers and the internet.

Technology allows students from anywhere to connect with world class musicians and composers to provide unique and powerful learning opportunities.

BBCC has tremendous experience working in the field of online music education in the development of both the Mount Royal University Conservatory Distance Learning and the Canadian Music Centre Composer in the Classroom Distance Learning Projects.
